Why do I need a moving handle?

It can happen that the big bag is still swinging slightly on lowering so that the FLEDBAG® can easily tip on penetrating the bag. The moving handle gives in, and nothing breaks.

Why must the FLEDBAG® be standing flat on the ground?

Enormous forces act on the FLEDBAG®; this is why a flat, stable position is so important. The connecting screw between the emptier and the slide is recessed so that the FLEDBAG® can be set up evenly on the ground. 

Is the big bag broken after using the FLEDBAG®?

The FLEDBAG® Original is designed exclusively for the use of one-way big bags, as the big bag is broken after removing the FLEDBAG®. Of course, the FLEDBAG® Original can also be used for returnable big bags, but the big bag is broken after this use. You also need to consider the fact that the FLEDBAG® Original is inserted off centre, and not directly at the returnable big bag’s outlet. We recommend the use of the FLEDBAG® Easy for returnable big bags; this system does not damage the big bag, which can then be re-used. 

How do I remove the FLEDBAG® Original from the big bag?

After using the FLEDBAG®, cut it out of the big bag. Of course, you can leave the FLEDBAG® Original in the big bag for storage purposes, and deposit the big bag. 

How do I remove the FLEDBAG® Easy from the big bag?

Release the connecting clamp; you can then easily remove the FLEDBAG® Easy. This means that you can re-use the returnable big bag.

Can I leave the FLEDBAG® in the big bag, and then deposit the big bag for storage purposes? 

Yes, you can leave the FLEDBAG® in the big bag, and then deposit the big bag for storage purposes.

Is the big bag fully emptied, or does a remnant remain in the big bag?

Depending on the big bag’s content, a small remnant may remain in the big bag; this can be fully emptied after removing the FLEDBAG®.

How often can I re-use the FLEDBAG®?

The FLEDBAG® Original and the FLEDBAG® Easy have an unlimited service life given intended use. It is important for the big bag’s content not to contain lumps.

What materials is the FLEDBAG® suitable for?

The FLEDBAG® Original and the FLEDBAG® Easy can be used for pourable materials from 1 to approx. 20mm in diameter. The FLEDBAG® Easy is also suitable for powdered material.

How long until my order is dispatched?

We will aim to dispatch your order within 1-2 working days of receiving your order (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Victoria, Australia). You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Processing may take longer during certain times of year, such as prior to Christmas each year.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery of your order is between 3 – 10 business days from the dispatch date. We usually use Australia Post for our deliveries. Australia Post’s delivery times vary depending on delivery location and are subject to change. We do not have any control over delivery times once orders have been dispatched from our warehouse.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a message from Australia Post with your tracking number. You can track the shipment of goods via Australia Post by entering your tracking ID number here.

How much does shipping cost?

Delivery charges cover packaging and delivery cost. Delivery charges will be charged in addition to the prices of Goods purchased from us. Flat rate shipping is $25 AUD for Australian orders. The flat rate delivery fee is set out in the ‘Cart’ section of the Website when you place an order for Goods.

Can I return or exchange an item?

We do not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases.
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. We will replace the item (or at our discretion we may repair or refund you) within a reasonable time.

If the Goods are faulty or damaged, please email us at info@unitedag.com.au, and include the following information:
• The order number;
• Clear photograph(s) of the Goods; and
• A description of the Goods and the fault.
If the Goods are faulty or damaged, we will let you know whether you need to return the item to us and if so, we will send you a prepaid satchel. Please place the faulty Good in the prepaid satchel, when you receive it, and post it back to us.

Please return items within 28 days of the date you receive them.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, we will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.
We will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
